We had dinner at Mandarin Oriental's fabulous Chinese restaurant, Lai Po Heen with the buds, Azhar and Raez plus Imran and Zurin who joined us after dinner.
Azhar and I went through great lengths to plan this surprise dinner for Bobby PLUS we had to make sure he didn't sneak off and pay for the whole thing as he usually does. I know he means well but hey, it's not right to pay for dinner on your birthday! Anyways, he's always saying that we should treat him to dinner at MO and I bet he loved the suprise.
We were given a private room (that totally rocked!) and had the Opal set which consisted of 9 whole courses (which we couldn't finish) not including Durian Pancakes which stood in place of a traditional b'day cake. Durian Pancakes are Lai Po Heen's signature dessert and if you love durians, this will blow your mind away as I've been told. But if you're anything like me (I hate durians), pass it on to your loved ones who do and they will be eternally grateful! Hehehehehe
So dinner was great, service was excellent and the company even better, but the best part was cuddling at home with my baby. ^_^
