Kasma necklace: a 'Y' shape design finished with a tassel charm

An exquisite set which consists of a matching pair of earrings, necklace and bracelet, Kasma has been a labor of love for me. All links were individually handmade by yours truly with Swarovski crystal bicones & gold filled wires in my favorite color combo of the moment, Vintage Rose and Gold. Almost 12 hours later and a very stiff pair of hands, I can wholeheartedly say that Kasma is simply gorgeous.

Air Mata

Air Mata translates to “tears; tear drops.” This piece is similar to Isi Hati and Jiwa Suci but totally unique in its variation. It goes great with casual wear like jeans and looks equally great with a flirty cocktail dress.

Isi Hati

Meaning “feelings” in Malay, Isi Hati is a simpler version of Jiwa Suci but with a whole lot more Swarovski crystal bicones in an Aurora Borealis finish which makes this piece simply luminous!

Kayangan

A variation of Gemilang & Sinaran, Kayangan for some reason reminds me of summer holidays I had as a child, spent at some of Malaysia’s and Asia’s beautiful beaches. Kayangan means “fairyland” or simply “a very beautiful place.”

Nadira

I love the filigree used on Nadira. Meaning “Precious” is Arab, this piece is bohemian elegance. Pictured here are two colors: Opaque Aquamarine (above) and Opaque Rose (below). I also have Clear Aquamarine, Clear Rose & Jade Green.

Melor

Melor which means “Jasmine” in Malay is a feminine yet whimsical pair of earrings. Wear it on a date, with a light cotton dress and don’t forget to twirl and flutter those eyelashes!

Mawar Berduri

“Thorny Rose” is what Mawar Berduri translates to. I purposely left this piece very simple so as not to distract from the intricate carving of the Black Onyx rose bead (which was very hard to find by the way! Thanks to Cindy for providing me with these little beauties).

Gemilang

Gemilang is Malay for "Splendorous". It's a set which consists of the necklace above (closeup on the left) and the earrings below. I actually made this for myself but someone snapped up the set right off me! So here's another set... for sale this time.

:: Measurements :: The necklace measures 50cm in total and the pendant hangs at 4cm which drops right above the bust line. There's also a 5cm extension chain at the clasp. The earrings are 5cm.

I made these little darlings, Kecil dan Bulat awhile ago and plum forgot to put them up. They're all sold out now but I can easily make them again if you're hankering for something small and sweet.

Teratai

Teratai [teh-ra-thai]; water lily (Malay)

It's been a really hectic week so far around here. Thought I'd take a breather and blog -- Gosh, I'm such a geek.

Anyways, thought I'd post this up lest I forget (and before I send it to the client). Teratai has been specially made for Rufina who loved Tender Pink but didn't fancy the green. Teratai evokes a very different feeling from Tender; this piece is elegantly feminine whereas the later has a sort of whimsical charm but I love both either way. :)

Made with Czech glass blooms in pink, silver chains and findings plus 4mm Swarovski bicones in 3 different shades of pink. Retails at MYR 38/USD 11

Kuntum

Kuntum [coon-toom] flower bud; blossom (Bahasa Melayu)

I have always loved woven and intricate jewelry so when I chanced upon this pattern which was originally meant for a totally different piece of jewelry, I modified it and made it my own. Ah yes, Kuntum has been a labor of love and even though I almost went blind from all the minute details that this sort of weaving requires (ok fine, I'm exagerating :P ), I would gladly do it again. No, seriously. :)

[top] Made with 4mm Swarovski bicones in Turquoise, Light Olivine, Olivine and Blue Caribbean plus gold Japanese seed beads. Earring hooks are gold filled.

Renai

Named after a roommate I had in boarding school (KTJ - hey babe!). I have a pair of my own and wear them out quite a bit and the funny thing is, I get complete strangers coming up to me saying they love it and that it looks so different (said exactly like they were speaking in italics too!). I don't really see what's so different about it but hey, I made it and I love it! ^_^ So I guess this piece is for the funky-minded and nonconformists, or if you aspire to be funky-minded and a nonconformist. Heh.

Naila

A custom order for a dear friend, Naila you see here has been made in the colors to represent prosperity and wealth. FYI, Naila means Successful in Egyptian so my friend thought it would serve her purpose well. Here's hoping it does babe! Cheers!

I was sooo excited when I finally got my hands on some teeny tiny Swarovski pearls last week. The possibilities of creating darling beaded goodies are endless with these little marvels of Swarovski splendor! Geeta and Seeta

These are remakes of Geeta. Click here to see the original. One of my more popular designs amongst my Mont Kiara customers. It's amazing how hoop earrings seem to complement virtually any kind face shape, don't you think so?

Czech teardrops in Opal Pink/ Clear Purple/ Clear Pink hang from imported silver plated filigree hoops. Retails at RM20 / US$6 per pair.
