Aiyo!

Of all days yesterday I forgot to bring my camera to Mont Kiara!
There were clowns, big guys riding little bikes, Darth Vader, heart-felt singing and my ex-classmates from high school dropped by!!

That'll teach me a lesson.

Anyways, yesterday HATI put on a Charity Day Out for Disabled and Underprivileged kids at Mont Kiara and I thought it was quite gempak...

Imagine:
Pocket bikes for anyone to try out
(full grown adults on kid-sized fully functional motorbikes... too hilarious!)
and Dudes in Star Wars costumes running around!
(Darth Vader was the coolest cos his costume was COMPLETE)

Oh, and business was GREAT too!
One of my regular customers cleaned me out of butterfly hairclips and proclaimed that I'm her favorite stop at Mont Kiara,

Aawwww shucks!
my slippers and lace tops are almost all gone,
and I gotta restock on my belly dancing stuff and make more charm bracelets.
What a day!

*sigh of contentment*

Business Busyness

Notice how the word business
looks an awful lot like busyness?
I can now honestly understand why *sob*sob*

I've so much on my plate at the moment that I don't even know where to start!
*sigh* So much to do and so little time.
BAH! Who am I kidding?
I have the WORST time management EVER!

I need a PDA.

Have a Heart

Sherrina and her crew of Independent Pet Rescuers (IPR) are awesome. I applaud them and their effort. The IPR have been picking up stray animals around KL and Selangor, fostering kitties and doggies while looking for a safe and loving home to place them. And yes folks, you can adopt these housebroken pets for FREE as long as you promise to love and care for your chosen pet and permit the IPR to check up on you.

If you can't adopt an animal (like me as I lack the space with 2 dogs of my own), you can contribute pet food, leashes, collars, help them pay medical bills such as vaccination and neutering, sponsor an animal, ANYTHING! Any contribution, small or big, will be greatly appreciated.

I took this off their website, which in turn they took off petrescue.com: Thousands of years ago, we humans formed a covenant with our companion animals. We wanted them to live with us and to share our lives. Because of this our 'pets' lost most of their natural skills to fend for themselves. It then became our responsibility to feed and care for them. While the animals have kept their end of the bargain, we humans largely have not. At PetRescue.Com we are trying, in our small way, to make amends. We believe that all animals deserve to be treated humanely and with respect. Each and every one of us can make a difference and help to keep our ancient promise to the animals.
p/s: There's a lovely, sweet tempered female doggie called Queenie that's still looking for a home. Don't break my heart people as if she doesn't get adopted, she'll be put in an animal shelter. I'm gonna bawl!! :(

GoogleSchmoogle

I was doing some research on Google's AdWords...
You know... To find out how much would it cost to adverstise with the oh-so-fabulous Google.
It's this pay-per-click system based on the cost of the keyword that's related to your product.
Don't get it? Click here.
Too malas to explain to you lah.

Anyways, I was kinda blown away by how much certain keywords cost per click to get a #1 - 3 position on a Google search...
Like "handmade jewelry" is USD 0.19 per click.
Imagine if you get something like 100 clicks per day.
That's US Dollar 19 = Ringgit Malaysia 70 PER FREAKIN' DAY!
RM490 PER WEEK!

WhoHoooah!

With this in mind, I thought I'd just type in "PureMoon" on a Google search and see where I stand in this World Wide Web....
Lo and behold, I'm #1!
NumBAH ONE baby!
WoooHooooo! Click here to witness greatness.
It's silly, I know but I'm so giddy with pride.
Not like they're a lot of people who would search for the word "PureMoon" or anything... it's not even a WORD!
But I'm still grinning from ear to ear.
You know why??
I don't have to pay RM70 per day! :P
Hehehehehe

Imitation is a form of flattery

*Breathe in*Breathe out*

BOLLOCKS! I don't care if it's flattery! It still sucks when other people steal your ideas!

*Breathe in*Breathe out*

ARGH! It's a pity that some people have no creativity or imagination and just end up sponging off other people's great ideas.

Sneak Peek

Took the pictures in my garden. My neighbours must have thought I was crazy arranging stuff while fending off mosquitoes under the hot sun... but it was worth it :)

More to come next week...
