Island Paradise

Mother Nature was most hospitable at Pulau Perhentian last weekend.
The sun shone, the sea sparkled and the beaches were pristine.
Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality from the locals left a lot to be desired...
But don't worry dahlings, that didn't spoil my FAaaHBULOUS holiday! :)

Read more about it here.

In the meantime, enjoy the pictures.

Number of Buffet Lines:

24 lines in total

Last call at the bar:
3 am

Party lasted until:
Who knows? Heard some people caught the flu by staying out in the pool until 5 am.

Number of Nervous Breakdowns I had:
3, which is pretty good considering that I didn't get to eat, sleep or even rest for that matter in the 3 days of MSF.

Someone (Chin Ling, bless your heart) commented that I always looked so calm and serene during the whole melange. I snorted in disbelief when I heard that and swore to high heaven that I felt anything but calm and serene!

It felt good though when we sent off the last bus back to KL. We were all busting with pride and also, I'm sure, a huge sense of relief. I think everyone on the Organizing Committee (including myself) fell ill the very next day (someone came down with high fever just as we were leaving Cherating poor girl)!

We also got some great publicity thanks to Channel V, TV3 and The Star.
How cool is that?
Anyways, if I can find some stuff to link, will do so as soon as I get back from my much deserved rest at Pulau Perhentian ;)
