Unazukin Madness

Aren't these the cutest?!? They're on the way to me from Japan as you're reading this... and I can't believe I'm soooo excited over some kitschy dolls! 0_o

Anyways, the Unazukins above are nesting dolls (duh) much like the traditional Russian ones but given a cutesy facelift by the folks at Bandai. The one in red NODS and SHAKES its head!!! How cool is that????!?!? I'm such a sucker for a cheap gimmick... *sigh* Oh well, at least they'll look really cute on my workspace.

Get some of your own from this great little site for all things Japanese.

::Update:: I just checked out the official Unazukin website (click above) and I predict I'll be buying more in the near future. I could just die of cute overload right now!

Darn it!

Did I tell you that my lap top crashed a couple of weeks ago and I lost ALL of my pictures and important documents because stupid me didn't back them up? Say it together now, loud and clear:
OH S***!
My heart is quite broken now as I mourn the loss of my treasure trove. I just thank God I at least have some of my pictures on my Flickr album. I'm gonna go mope for awhile now but do check out the latest PureMoon goodies below or click here, here, here, here and here.

Irama Merdu

This is Irama in Fuschia and Olivine. Irama means Melody in Malay and yeah, I thought the name fit these jazzy pieces. Oh God, I'm so corny. Anyways, hope you like it.

Merdu means Melodious in Malay. Put Irama + Merdu together and you get Melodious Melody. Tadaaaaaa! Excuse the corniness.

Blooms

My boyfriend loves seeing me in pretty and girly pieces, so I thought I'd remake these for the benefit of anyone who loves pretty and girly accessories too! ^_^
From l - r : Tender Blossoms, Tender Tendrils & Tender Blooms

Tender Blossoms is a simple piece meant those days you just want to add a touch of girlishness to that staid, boring outfit.

Made with 2 Czech glass flowers on each side in a salmon pink kind of color and topped with silver beads and a Light Rose 5mm Swarovski crystal plus Czech glass leaves. Retails @ RM20/US$6

Tender Tendrils look familiar? Well, it's this piece minus the extra crystals dripping from the chains. I love how it hangs and the colors of the blooms are just right.

Tender Blooms is a favorite with many ladies. It's seriously cute and kinda addictive. I've had ladies coming back for more of these for their friends and family too!

Sorry!

The puppy pictured here kinda reflected my mood yesterday at the market... Grumpy and Bored! "Why?" you ask? Well, the oh so mighty powers that be at the flea market I have a stall at decided to shift me a few stalls down without any prior warning... they also forgot to inform the regular vendors at that particular stall too. So, when I got there at 10 am and checked my stall number (just in case) they had already set up their wares at their regular spot which was supposed to be MY spot! Ah well, at least they were really apologetic about it.

The spot I ended up with was kinda tucked in the corner and didn't help my mood much (I get bored easily when I'm grumpy... who doesn't??). For those who came to Mont Kiara with their coupons and couldn't find me, I am truly sorry. For those who DID manage to find me, my hats off to ya! I heard a group of lovely ladies from afar exclaiming, "LOOK! Frangipanis!" and they definitely brightened my day. Thanks ladies! ^_^

Anyways, hope this little snafu won't stop you from coming by the PureMoon stall in the coming Sundays this February. FIY, I'll be in the vicinity of Lecka Lecka instead of DeliFrance. You still have 2 more Sundays to use up all that Coupon Goodness folks, so come and get it!

P/S: The picture above is entitled Cool Blue Puppy and was painted by Miss Ashley White Jacobsen. Nice huh? Go check out the rest of her adorable paintings!
